Treatment of hypercholesterolaemia

The recommended starting dose is 5mg or 10mg orally once daily.

Indications:

- Treatment of flluid retention associated with heart failure

- Treatment of mild to moderate hypertension when diuretic 

response is required

- Oedema: Initial 40mg daily in the morning

- Hypertension: 20-40 mg twice daily
